Ich habe kürzlich dafür den Begriff des "Producerism" kennen gelernt, also der Diskriminierung aufgrund von angeblich fehlender Leistungserbringung für das Kollektiv (Volk, Gesellschaft, etc.). War mir als Begriff neu und fand ich sehr passend.

Angekommen in Hofgeismar zur Tagung "Welches Demokratieverständnis braucht Demokratiebildung?" Ich bin gespannt, wen ich hier alles kennen lernen darf.

Advantage of working from home in your early 30s #phdlife

Meiner Meinung nach gibt es in nationaler/internationaler Forschung 2 Lehren mit Blick auf Parteien wie die CDU/CSU: a) Es braucht starke konservative Parteien, die konservativ-demokratische Auffassungen vertreten & b) sie zerstören sich selbst, wenn die klare Kante zu radikalen Rechten fällt.

🔑 Key takeaway: Trust the process!
The long phases without visible results were tough & made me doubt my PhD journey. Now, I can see the hard work paying off. Mindfulness & self-care were key learnings I worked on.

2024 Highlights:
📚 Paper on democratic and core values → presented at 3 conferences.
✍️ Co-authored: political interest in secondary education & social media analysis during the #EURO2024.
🏃‍♂️ Personally: ran my first marathon!

PhD life =rollercoaster 🎢: doubts, small steps – and in the end, progress. Early 2024: no papers submitted. Now: 4 papers submitted, 2 under revision. Plus, 3 conferences & 600 primary school students surveyed.
