Izzy is a PhD candidate and social-developmental psychologist in University College Dublin. Her doctoral work focuses on how children's superordinate identities relate to social inclusion.

Introducing Michelle Twali, part of the ECC Professional Development team! 🎉

Michelle is an Assistant Professor at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Her research examines the factors leading to the persistence of intergroup conflict and violence.

Please welcome, Patricia Ciordaș, who is part of the ECC Newsletter team! 📰

Patricia is a PhD candidate in Social Psychology at Eötvös Loránd University. Her research focuses on allyship, ally action and motivations and intergroup helping.

Up next is Yasemin Uluşahin, part of the ECC Mentorship Program! Yasemin is a postdoctoral researcher at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. 🎉

Her research explores how social identities and social representations shape belief formation, with a focus on belief in conspiracy theories and populism.

Meet the ECC Chair-Elect Xenia Daniela Poslon, a post-doc at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. 💫

Her research focuses on intergroup relations, with particular interest in prejudice, social identity, and collective action.

We’re thrilled to introduce the first of many incredible new members of our Early Career Committee at ISPP! ⭐✨
