That was the first season after the offside rule changed from 3 to 2 defensive players closer to the goal than the attacking team. You'd have thought they were used to it by April but the 1925/6 season in Division 1 saw a 40% increase in the number of goals scored.

The problem for me is that, for tonight's decision at least, it was a classic VAR slow motion or freeze frame decision. Watch that at normal speed and it's a fleeting contact. At slow motion it's a red card which can't be right.

Thankfully for me, the poor run of Burnley form has been mirrored by my beloved Seattle Seahawks winning the last 7 games, winning the NFC West and claiming the #1 seed in the play offs. Brilliant performance last night! #seahawks

Our owners will have been in charge 5 full seasons and, assuming we go down, will have been relegated in 3 of them with 3 different managers and 3 different squads that haven't been nearly good enough, I think they need to look at themselves.
