Trump pushes an end to medical care for transgender youth nationally The White House plans to bar hospitals that treat transgender children and youth from getting any Medicare and Medicaid payments. The move would affect trans youth who have private insurance, too.

Yet another assault on lifesaving medical care for TGD youth in the U.S. from the worm occupying an undead human skull at HHS and the orange-faced swamp monster demolishing the White House. This is what minority eradication under fascism looks like. The blood on their hands would fill a ballroom.

The UCLA Health giant has taken the extreme step of describing patients only by assigned birth-sex on certain diagnostic reports, while omitting generic sex/gender descriptions altogether. This subjects Trans and Gender Diverse patients to violation of privacy and potential medical harm.

Recent research has shown that misgendering language in medical records can potentially mislead diagnostic judgment and inflict medical harm on TGD patients who have received endocrine care. Be mindful of what's in your electronic health record.
