I've @ a roadblock. "pciconf -lv" shows the card but I'm not able to set up interfaces. More hours in the day would be super helpful rn. Prob something simple i'm overlooking.

But I’m torn: OPNsense vs pfSense. OPNsense runs offsite at our business and I really enjoy interacting with it. I’m torn and not really in a hurry to deploy so I’ll explore performance and pull the trigger.

Lenovo m720q tiny router project. 2.5gbe NIC.

We attempted Proxmox w/ OPNsense but realized it might be overkill. I spared the NVMe rather than wipe it. I have reservations for that path.

I’m currently running a Protectli FW4B w/ pfSense for my home network. I’d like a slight upgrade.
