Yes! And it’s been really fun with these new leagues. They feel really welcoming. Sometimes long-time leagues feel hard to learn the lore and even feel like there are gatekeepers trying to keep new fans out.

Oh yeah! I definitely forgot about that one. I always wanted to like sports before, and loved watching the Olympics, but I have only recently realized that what I wanted was to just watch Women’s sports and these new leagues are making it so easy to watch and enjoy.

Maureen. Try Women’s sports. If you’re thinking soccer, there’s the NWSL. They are playing now. My two other recs are up-and coming-pro leagues, AUSL Softball which streams games free on mlb.com, and (my fav) the PWHL (which is hockey). NY has a hockey team, the Sirens. You might start there.

Congress is a big place. I don’t expect them to all want the same thing, and I would expect a least some of them, say the ones who purport to be anti-fascist, would speak out.

I would think that Congress would at least want people to realize that an unelected, unconfirmed, private individual is actively inside government offices accessing private information, and dismantling agencies that Congress has set up and already authorized spending for.
