One quick comment, if I may - I think adjusting the text on the right a bit might be useful: making the font bigger, increasing the line distance a bit, playing around with narrower font and emphasizing the paragraphs?
Disco has a Serif typeface of course, but can be a reference.

A lot (most?) game UIs are cleanly rendered on top of the virtual worlds. It's understandable - clarity, usability, accessibility are paramount.
But I'd be curious to work on a project that tries to ground its UI by making it visually imperfect, damaged, slightly off.
