I’m wondering how much use the ballroom will get. Will Trump hire it out for weddings, bar mitzvahs, parties? Who will get the payments? Trump is demeaning the WH but he just sees it as a money-making venture.

When it’s finished, he’ll be out of office. He’s a tenant in an iconic building, not the owner. The next incumbent reverts the White House to as it was before Trump. There should then be a debate about the WH becoming a national monument, not subject to alteration on the whim of a President.
