I get it, but foodbanks are a good thing. It is a centralized location(s) for many grocery stores to give unsold spoiling food one last chance to be consumed. Organized dumpster diving. There is NO shame in keeping food from the garbage.

Also, a foodbank reduces waste. Foodbank users are heroes that use up spoiling perishables. Like organized dumpster diving.

Everyone deserves food, healthcare, housing and an education.

They shouldn’t have to “prove they matter” to access basic support.
