Here, a quick example I mocked up.
You could do this entire thing with copper bars, but I love having the option of looking like iron bars have corroded.
Of course, that's something players can change easily with a resource pack if they disagree.

I actually think it's good that copper bars don't have a new texture - it allows for more subtle blending with the existing iron bars. You can simulate the iron rusting (since it doesn't have an equivalent mechanic to copper oxidation).
Copper already added a lot of unique textures with grates etc.

No - at least, not yet.

Items on shelves in Java look way too small.
Bedrock seems to scale them as large as the sprite will fit inside the space, which works way better for stuff like banners.
It doesn't matter to me if the proportions are off, filling the shelf looks way better and is more practical for various uses!

Spent the last 40 min of stream looking at the new copper features! Very excited about copper chains and lanterns, and the copper torch now means we now have a mini rainbow of torches 😍
I still think Java needs to match Bedrock's way of rendering items on shelves.

My solo character challenge run of Expedition 33 actually feels easier than my first playthrough?
I expect it's mostly just gameplay knowledge; I know what to expect, how to parry most enemies, etc etc
But it's also because when you give Verso every available Pictos he becomes kind of unstoppable 🤣

Had an absolute blast running this in Brighton tonight for a group of three players. I wrote a dungeon crawl called "Tomb of the 100-Year-Old Lich", so when someone rolled max value on a d100 - which they DID - it was the Lich's birthday and bad stuff happened.
10/10 system, running it again Friday

Reached Act 3 in my solo character run of Expedition 33. Declared on stream that I'm probably gonna give the game a break after concluding this playthrough.
Two hours later I loaded up the game and started routing a no-attacks-all-parries run 😂
