Moody, cloudy black and white scene. A black sand beach has some white waves trailed across it, with some pointy mountains below a band of cloud in the distance.

And here's a bit of swooshery from last month at Stokksnes in #Iceland.

This is a black and white photo of an old, cobbled hill. The image has been taken at dusk, and so the scene is quite dark. On the left there are a row of cottages, with some outside lights on. On the right is a large stone wall with vegetation growing out of it. There are cobbles on the ground and a small fence on the right.

Yesterday, @athenacarey.bsky.social was asking me if there's a place I revisit a lot and, yes, I would say this is it. I live about 4 miles from this iconic hill and I've shot it SO many times over the years.
