Man, I just saw the Anthony Fantano review of MARTY SUPREME where he claims he "couldn't like" the movie because the main character never saw any consequences.

I think I got into alcohol to spite the most annoying straight edge friends I had in Albuquerque. Honestly, pretty happy I did that, but I’m also loving my adult life more than whatever the interim period was between college graduation and now 😂

It’s wild how much your general health and well being improves if you simply limit your booze to weekends.

I really enjoy this release though it comes from 2024. It’s from a band of Dubliners who play literate working class post punk like Protomartyr but with nods of some traditional Irish folk.
