This is how a major crossroad in Belgrade, Serbia looks like currently because students protesting government corruption are staging a 24-hour blockade.

Serbia's striking students set off on 2-day march north as their protest movement widens They packed up food, water and extra clothes and set off. Hundreds of Serbian university students on Thursday started an 80-kilometer, or 50 mile, march toward the northern city of Novi Sad.

In #Serbia, the protests show no sign of slowing down. A group of around 300 students is marching from #Belgrade to #NoviSad, backed by supportive citizens along the way. Their goal: to join the full-scale blockade of the city planned for Saturday.
