Can I suggest that everyone disgusted by Farage’s shameful treatment of @annasophiegross.bsky.social follows her en masse?

Let’s show her our support, solidarity and that we stand with her, and every other journalist, who is doing their job and holding all politicians to account.

Would’ve been nice if Steven Powell (AST & AISA founder) had lived to see this. He campaigned relentlessly - and selflessly, given that he needed a seat at games himself.

Most fans at the time said it was a pipe dream, would never happen etc.

On this day 1991, Arsenal's reserves drew 2-2 in an away match against Reading played at Highbury. A much larger than normal crowd turned up to see Tony Adams play his first game following his release from prison.

Just a sad thing to see, like taking a chateaubriand off the table & replacing it with a Big Mac

Sorry to hear, geez; hope your wife is coping, horrible business. All we can do is keep going (and yep, that includes keep going to the Arsenal).

It’s absolutely fine in isolation, but two wins from six is not title winning form

Yup we had that very bad patch in early-mid Dec

Indeed, but we’re rarely winning away games by two goals

Around this time two years ago, we beat West Ham 6-0, Burnley 5-0, Sheff Utd 6-0, Brighton 3-0, all away from home.

How do we get back to that? At least two of those teams were abysmal, granted - but our play didn’t feel stodgy in general.

Labouring 1-0 0-1 2-1 1-0 2-0 2-2 1-1 1-2 1-0 3-2 0-0 4-0 1-1 That is a list of Arsenal’s Premier League results away from home this season. Only Leeds and Burnley have been vanquished with any sense of comfort...

The tone around the Arsenal-sphere after Brentford is kind of encapsulated by @tim-stillman.bsky.social’s choice of analogies this week: pushing a boulder up a hill, vomiting with snot dripping off your nose, and giving birth.

Thoughts with the thousands of Forest fans who last month celebrated a final whistle - at the end of a 0-0 draw at home - like they’d won the FA Cup.

Do you find Arsenal boring? Blame their opponents Mikel Arteta’s side have been accused of playing dull football but the data suggests their Premier League rivals are the problem

Do you find Arsenal boring? Blame their opponents. #AFC matches are terrific entertainment when they play against teams who dare to open up (Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, for example). In the league, it is the opposition's fear that kills the spectacle.

Thomas Frank’s bizarre obsession with Arsenal helped seal his fate Poor results and a series of rookie errors also eventually led to the Dane’s sacking as Tottenham manager

This is amusing.
