Clean up is still happening for those along the Russian River flooded by the recent storm. These renters were moving in this past weekend, they say flood waters rose faster quicker than they’ve ever seen with little time to move all their belongings from the flooded basement.

The high water of the Russian River is a close call for some, like Guerneville resident Linda Brennan. Her home is an island and her neighborhood cut off until the river recedes back down enough, likely early Sunday.

One of the biggest concerns along the Russian River right now is in the RV and mobile home parks along the river, which are often first to see flood waters. Some are evacuating ahead of the 32 ft river level out of precaution.
