Fathers day 10 years ago though was the last time I got to talk to my Dad before he passed

My kids won't ever get to know him beyond pictures and some home videos and stories

I'm thankful for the time we did have. Hard to believe that it's been 10 years

Today is a hard and wonderful day

I love our boys and, gender identity stuff aside, fathers day is a day to celebrate our family and it'll be a good day

Good friends of ours are coming home from the hospital today with their first kid and everything is happy and healthy

On one hand - work chaos means that I've got some ability to just focus on a back burner project and really just sink into it

On the other - work's been chaotic and plans that I had been setting up and getting ready to execute on for about a year are now absolutely out the window

Some good friends got married over the weekend. Wonderful ceremony and reception, very fitting for them
