It’s easy to get engrossed. There are sets for all interests from city to Star Wars, architecture, flowers. Movie tie-ins. Building them is how I zone out. It can get $$$ though😬🤣

Lego Jaws set depicting the shark attacking the boat

The Lego Jaws set was every bit as fun and cool to put together as I hoped it would be!

The bands range in colour from red to orange, white, brown, blue, white, purple and cream. There is significant red colouration due to age oxide impurities and haematite remobilisation. There are fractures running through the agate but most of these are old and have been remineralised. The palm has a tattoo of an ammonite in cross section on it.

Just read A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. So well written. The pacing and switches in time from past to present were seamless.
I then watched the Tom Hanks movie, A Man called Otto, an Americanized bastardization of the book. Book is so much better but I thought Hanks was very good.

Last 2 books I’ve read. How to invent Everything by Ryan North. Basically a how-to manual if you every get trapped in the past due to faulty Time travel machine. Enjoyed it very much.
Fuzzy Nation by @scalzi.com - quick, enjoyable read about a resource rich planet with possibly sentient beings. 👍👍

Next most recent book I read is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Enjoyed it very much. Glad to hear he is publishing a new book, due out next year
