Thank you! And no worries at all! β€οΈ
01.02.2026 13:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think I remember you mentioning it! It does look fun though!
23.01.2026 23:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It does! A Knights Tale was good, and we saw Back to the Future for the short time it was on up here (Feb 2020, enough said!) But I am tempted by Something Rotten, too!
23.01.2026 22:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That's a bit ridiculous, I'm just glad that they do a lot of theatre things in Manchester, so things do come up here eventually!
23.01.2026 22:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's the train that's the killer! I don't object to hotel prices as much, but the trains are just so pricey for what they are!
23.01.2026 20:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That's fair, we've got two London trips to sort, which adds up!
23.01.2026 19:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0πππ if I'd not already booked things for this year...

Itβs time for me to flail about the books Iβve read this year. 125 in total, and I canβt ever narrow it down to a top 10, so here is my top 15. Fantasy heavy, queer, weird. Key takes from this? I like messy boys, murder mysteries, and complex fantasy systems. Books listed in order of reading.
30.12.2025 18:46 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sketchy coloured pencil drawing on a lilac post-it note: a waist-up portrait of drag queen Barbara Lasagna (played by George Rexstrew in the film Pismo Beach). She is wearing a red velvet dress with ruching at the hips and white fur at the turtleneck collar and three-quarter sleeve cuffs. Her hair is in voluminous auburn curls with a big black flower pinned above her forehead, and her face is made up with striking eye shadow and red lipstick. Her eyes are closed as she croons into an old-fashioned microphone that she is cradling in her red gloved hands. She's got a golden-yellow light glow around her.
I was missing my beloved Barbara last night, so it seemed a good time for a doodle ...
Fun fact, @ice-elf.bsky.social and I saw a drag queen perform in this dress recently (minus gloves) and I was completely derailed thinking of Barbara in it, so that was the inspiration. #BarbaraLasagna
I am having feelings about Heated Rivalry. FEELINGS.
05.12.2025 23:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really enjoyed Wicked For Good (Saw a double bill tonight, watching as nature intended) ππ
20.11.2025 23:34 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson. A purple-black raven spreads its wings, behind it a city looms.
This was SO good, folks. 660 pages. Started Sunday, finished tonight, and I want to go back and read it again. First book in a long time that has managed to floor me with a twist.
19.11.2025 21:05 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Our baby π»π» #DeadBoyDetectives
16.11.2025 16:36 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0That's fine! Thank you for letting us know. Time to spend 40 mins in denial land, haha
15.11.2025 10:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I got the dog after a fair bit of blank staring and was so cross! The clock tree made me most annoyed though!
14.11.2025 07:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm going to have to try and pick a top ten reads from 2025 soon, aren't I, but I keep reading absolute bangers. πππ
13.11.2025 17:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There's always a few I've not heard of...
13.11.2025 17:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ohhh, I was using the wrong word!
13.11.2025 17:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Got them all but the social calendar...
13.11.2025 17:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Say that out loud, and you need an of in there...
13.11.2025 17:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What's she doing with her hair?
13.11.2025 17:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You've practically typed the name of the river in the sky one :) the hair one is a memoir about an animal, and what colour is the woman wearing?
Can you help on the clock tree, social calendar or holiday books?
I'm sure I'll groan when I get it, but I'm still stumped!
13.11.2025 17:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That was ridiculously easy when I saw it.
What's the general term for a witch's cat? (Or other animal friend)
The sea - classic book, you've answered it once above
13.11.2025 16:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Four left! Stumped on tree clock, blanket, the season holiday books, and the social calendar...
Happy to trade clues on the others, if I can remember what they were, haha
#Hiddenbooksgame
This year's #HiddenBooksGame is hard. Only on 12/20 and stumped on the rest. I guess this is the danger of many reading queer spec fic. :(
13.11.2025 16:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 2Would you like a clue for this one?
