Two chainmail inlay patches, both with black ring borders. The top features a red helmet with a green visor, shade and light giving a 3D look. This is the helmet of Samus Aran, the bounty hunter from the Metroid series. The bottom has one of the titular Metroids, a green jellyfish-like creature with three red nuclei and yellow fangs at the bottom.

Some inlays. I’ve learned that chainmail inlays are a lot like pixel art. Using multiple similar ring colors can give a nice 3D effect; just look at the red/pink/orange in Samus’s helmet and the two tones of green in the visor.
