We'd be an extremely strong "great" country if we had a congress full of Andy Kims and not one full of Tom Cottons.

We can start with separating the Attorney General and DOJ from the executive branch. The AG should be an elected position, similar to most states. Until we have that separated, we can create new frameworks, but if the DOJ won't hold an administration accountable, it's all just words on paper.

I agree with a lot of this, but I think he missed one: Separate the AG (and DOJ) from the executive branch, just as it is in most states. It should be part of the judicial branch and be a check on the Exec branch.

With regard to the national guard deployments into DC, why are no major network reporters simply asking "Why?". And pursuing that line of questioning relentlessly. Something's not adding up and nobody seems to be asking the right questions.
