I might care more than I do today, but I will be disappointed to have less opportunities to see the Yankees and Red Sox and I doubt I’m the only fan who feels that way. I suspect this would also have negative effects on ticket sales when the Jays aren’t playing well.

As a fan, yes. Those are rivalries that I care about. They also tend to have players who are more interesting to watch. I do miss Detroit and I would be happy to have them back, but I really don’t care about Minnesota and Cleveland.
