Just steam, blown through a line of small nozzles.

There is a device that creates high voltage by only using jets of steam. The mad thing about it is the whole boiler and burner needs to be insulated from ground.

Truning it off is a challenge :)

Hello i am in a building full of steam engines and tesla coil, one of which is playing the theme from Dr Who

Gaussfest, and an electrical day in London on the 7th September picture shows The London Museum of Water and Steam (Brentford) with a large tesla coil spraying electrical arcs 2-3M with Victorian pumping engines around and a crowd of people watching. I can't think of a better day out :)

High voltage, tesla coils, electrostatic machine demonstrations and a Victorian/Edwardian pumping station to look around, plus a chance of seeing a working mercury rectifier(s)
