No problem, will do! I need to test them before I do that as some of them were rescued from some quite difficult to read disks but I -think- they’re all in working order. I’ll let you know 🙂

This was a pretty cool find. A decent platformer game in the same vein as Manic Miner etc on the Sharp MZ-80K. Not that I'm particularly good at it yet but this has some really nice animations using the Sharpscii graphics.

Pretty excellent arrival this morning ! A few tapes with loads of unpublished but mostly finished programs / games on and two published titles which I’d never heard of before :)

Three new lovely arrivals today to add to the collection :)

Some pretty hard to find things have arrived this morning :) Including the QuickDisk version of Hisoft’s Pascal!

Certainly had boxes of diskettes but I only remember calling them floppies or floppy disks :)

I’ve worked with South Africans in the past who called them Stiffies.

Safe now to say that the sequel I was referring to was “The Sentinel Returns”, which I enjoyed immensely :)

It’s been a while but I think I’m ready to start up my blog again where I convert BASIC listings from type-in books such as the Usborne ones into fully explained Z80 assembly listings. Seems like a good New Year’s resolution :) I believe I was doing “Beat The Bug Eyes” next.

I had a feeling this had been available on other machines! I think I may have seen the name Hisoft in relation to the Spectrum possibly in the past.

First I’ve heard of these ones, nice and fresh for my collection. But yes, in the past I’ve used eg Avalon Zen assembler to write stuff :)
