Anchor Terrace on Southwark Bridge Road. Haven’t quite worked out whether it was the end one or not - I think not, but it’s possible they took liberties when filming. Anyway, it’s a rather nice late Georgian terrace, and the only reason I know is that wikipedia mentioned that the This Life house was in South London, and it doesn’t look very South London at all (unless maybe you count Camberwell?) so obvs I had to go look it up. I rather doubt a bunch of dramatic twentysomethings could afford it now.

Started a rewatch of This Life over the weekend and then randomly went past where it was filmed today.

(Was worried it wouldn’t have aged well but on s1e3 so far and it still holds up?)

Mixed feels about Feel The Sound at the Barbican, but easily the best was Max Cooper’s “Reflections of being”: sit on subwoofer seats while you watch a video which exactly captures that moment ~15m post-disco-poo when you confront all the euphoria and anxiety of the world in an ultra HD rush

The woman running the flower stall at Borough Market is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and refers to the plants as "she" while discussing their personalities in depth 🥹

Extraction day! We took out the surplus honey boxes leaving plenty to see the bees through winter, sliced off the wax cap, and centrifuged the honey out.

I made a cool stripy keyring out of laminated acrylic which I'd carefully designed to show the resistor colour code - good looking AND practical!! - and he took it to display for parents' evening and then he lost it and by god I will resent this to my dying day
