If Youtube was invented today, would it be called YouOLED?

I read all the boring books and listened to the boring podcasts. Now I'm making a Youtube channel about them to make it fun. The topic: making sure humanity stays free and democratic for the long run.
If Youtube was invented today, would it be called YouOLED?
06.02.2025 22:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0sir, this is a nintendo community
26.01.2025 10:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0you are the media. you seem to feel like its your job. so, there are some of us whoose job it is, in the media.
21.01.2025 11:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I fixed my anxiety by quitting coffee :P
14.01.2025 10:55 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0he is talking about accounting. tbh it makes stuff up for anything legal related. try it yourself. i once tried it for tax law.
26.12.2024 07:33 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i am curious what industry that is in?
26.12.2024 07:29 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0false. it is not equal to ?
25.12.2024 03:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0get a job as a journalist. deadlines teach you to write fast. results are always better under a small amount of pressure.
12.12.2024 11:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0reading while driving is illegal. hence, audiobooks.
12.12.2024 11:09 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That's how the Nirvana song came to be.
12.12.2024 00:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What happens when AI is good enough that you can make a drone at home, with a bomb, and send it to explode in someone's face? Home-made Manhacks. What then, dear society?
11.12.2024 22:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0why are you so pessimistic? i was like that the first trump presidency but this time im more chill knowing how incompetent they are lol
11.12.2024 11:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0only when you plurk? that's pretty old school and constrictive. you should be able to also flurm and plink with combo buttons.
10.12.2024 03:21 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0From an audio production point of view, measuring apparent loudness is extremely difficult to do accurately!
09.12.2024 09:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You could have ChatGPT or Google NotebookLM do it in a few minutes if you wanted. You can paste them into a NotebookLM workspace and ask it questions, or just a summary.
09.12.2024 09:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0can spend the money in the best way. Bill Gates, Elon, they believe they are "good guys" and doing good with their money, but money itself isn't the motivating factor directly. A large number of millionaires simply love retiring, so those who become billionaires are inherently weird.
08.12.2024 09:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've read a bunch of biographies about billionaires, and my impression is that at that point more money is just a proxy for a dick measuring contest. They don't need a yacht for any other reason than to brag to the other billionaires. Some are idealists, and earn money because they think they 1/2
08.12.2024 09:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Where does the βmoney is a motivating factorβ statement come from? After 30 million is it really about the money? This is a myth that hurts discourse. Would be nice if someone did a real paychological study on motivations of millionaires..

Why so much doom and gloom. :) Everything's gonna be alright! π
03.12.2024 21:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0yeah same. kids come first, but its pretty important we keep interesting things in our heads. all work and no play makesβ¦
03.12.2024 11:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, it's an agentic system with loopback verification, conditional branching, refinement steps, etc. I want to open source it some day, but I'll keep it for that day because more impressive results means more publicity. I also don't think "good" in terms of benchmark scores.
03.12.2024 10:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Awesome! I think with good planning a system can be made that's fairly transparent to the users. As always in history, a problem needs to become bad enough for people to start to want a solution, so I think we just need to wait and watch the internet die so it can get reborn.
03.12.2024 09:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've created bots that can do that in some closed demos. A lot of people are doing that. You have no idea what the state of the art is obviously. Doing it with 32B models as well, which is the impressive part.
03.12.2024 09:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The bots on twitter now reply to small accounts as well. Around 20% of them are bots, casually trying to talk to you.
03.12.2024 09:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes it can! There are some amazing systems that can preserve anonymity, privacy and also be decentralized.
03.12.2024 09:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You'll see a feature when you spend 2 hours debating someone on bluesky, only to realize it was a bot.
03.12.2024 09:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0It absolutely can. There are peer to peer protocols that can anonymously verify your identity without revealing who you are. Decentralized, not owned by anyone, and cannot be spied on by anyone. This is a very complex system but it can be done.
03.12.2024 09:30 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And then there's the super sensitive crowd, to whom when you mention online identity verification, they all scream "state surveillance! oppression!" ... so we need to pick, either no more social media, or everyone gets a digital id. i think the latter isn't happening.
03.12.2024 09:28 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hey guys. I think the only way to start a flamewar on here is to say Star Trek is better than Star Wars. Here we gooooo! π₯
