A part of me knows I should play something new, maybe clear up my backlog. But my fractured and broken mind considers; if I play through Sky 3rd, Zero, and Azure before January I'll have played through every Trails game currently out in the last calendar year.

Either my weather app is drunk or some fucking weird shit is going on here. Can't remember the last time it was in the 40s in November in Central Florida, let alone almost freezing.

I'm definitely not doing a completionist run. I've beaten the game a few times before, but finishing Sky 1st the other day made me want a refresher on the story.

My fucking dogs opened my back door while I was at work, which I saw on camera, causing me a massive panic attack because they are known to escape if they can and I work so far from home. Luckily my boss was understanding and the dogs were still in my yard when I got home so it wasn't too bad.

You're not wrong. I just think that the reality is that until Linux becomes more 'plug and play' it's going to lag in user base. The good thing is that some distros are getting very close to being essentially that.

Most people just don't want to have to do that type of thing. And if you're a gamer it's still a lot more trouble than it's worth, IMO. This is as someone who has several Linux machines of different distros in my homelab.

I will say that Linux has got a lot better in terms of accessibility, however, most consumers want something that just works out of the box. Small example, I put Garuda on a spare laptop of mine and it was fine except it didn't natively support display link for my dock. Took 2 hours to get working.
