We finished our first concerts and wrapped up the first season!

I don't remember how just about anything plays out in this game or how it escalates to the point that people get transformed into demons, but playing Final Fantasy Tactics as an adult has been awesome so far.

Otaku Choir Update!
We have two concerts coming up first week of October! One at Rutgers Presbyterian Church on October 7th and one at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music on Friday the 10th, steps away from the Javits Center during New York Comic Con! Both at 7pm.
There is simply not enough love for that little kid that was collecting random animals throughout the entire story

October 10 is actually the one year anniversary of our discord server which is basically the bday of the choir!
We'll be at Rutgers Presbyterian and The Dimenna Center for Classical Music.

We helped kick off pride month with the Press Start Orchestra at The Museum of the Moving Image.
We were honored to have been invited by NYC Gaymers!
This is the first time PSO and OC are have come together and it was amazing. The first of many!

Yesterday we started our Summer Arc rehearsals with a good old Taiwanese classic. The Moon Represents My Heart by Teresa Teng!

We were invited to be part of the Japan Day Parade, sang a song and then had a pop up concert at the central park bandshell.

We have been asked to do a 60 second demonstration on the red carpet at the Japan Day Parade in May!
Afterwards we will go to the bandshell area and have a pop-up concert!

We have been accepted to be part of the Japan Day Parade in Central Park!
We will march in the parade and hopefully have time to sing a song. Then we plan on having a pop up concert at the bandshell of we're able to obtain a permit!

Just buy wherever you want. All of this is performative. We live in the empire. Period. We benefit from imperialism and worrying about where we purchase video games is a net negative for mental health considering that acknowledgement of ethics does even less to improve the actual issue.

We have sold out the reservation spots. I thought that when I started a choir for video game, anime and Asian pop music, I'd probably get like 10-12 people. We sold out our 50 person cap and have a wait-list. Can't wait to meet Class Zero of The NYC Otaku Choir!

We have finally booked the rehearsal space for 3 hours on Thursday, January the 23rd, 2025.
This is becoming more and more real with every passing moment. This is something that I've wanted to see happen for over 12 years.
To say that I am excited is a gross understatement.
My guess for Squid Game 3 is that the red light green light girl and this new mysterious boy represent the original creators children who were lost, probably connected to corporate greed. So they created the games as a way to get back at society for its fixation on capitalism over humanity.

Otaku Choir update!
We have 103 signups after two months of collecting! There's a real gap and opportunity in NYC to have a choir that sings the music of videogames, anime and Asian pop and we're going to do it!
First rehearsal has limited space and tickets are selling fast.
