Yeah this game could really use a remaster. The frame rate, at least on PS3, can be pretty bad at times. 🥴😅

It’s not as good as the other Arkham games, but it’s definitely not a bad game. It has some unique things that sets it apart as well. 😅

Batman: Arkham Origins is an action-adventure game developed by WB Games Montréal.

Unlike Arkham Asylum and City, Origins wasn’t developed by Rocksteady Studios, and some felt Origins didn’t live up to the same standards as its predecessors.

Did you like it?

It’s definitely worth checking out if you like horror games. It’s not a very long game, but you do kinda have to play it at least twice to understand some things in the story

The combat gets a lot of hate, but I didn’t mind it personally. Breakable weapons kinda suck, but it forces you to choose whether to fight an enemy or run. 😅

Silent Hill f is survival horror game developed by NeoBards Entertainment.

Silent Hill f was a big departure from previous games in the series and it’s set in 1960s Japan instead of the usual titular town and modern setting.

Was it a worthy entry in the Silent Hill series?

It’s janky, but it was the first Mega Man I played and even though I never managed to beat it as a kid I still loved it.

Nostalgia can really affect how we feel about a game. That’s why MM1 is kinda my secret favorite lol

Yeah I would love that. A modern X, but in the same style as X1-4

I picked that up earlier this year and played it for the first time. Pretty good, but it doesn’t beat the first three games imo 😅

I’ve played some of the ones after X4, but haven’t beaten any of them. I do think this was the last great one though from what I’ve played

Mega Man X4 is an action-platform game developed by Capcom.

The game started life as a Sega Saturn exclusive, but was delayed and made multi-platform. Then the PS version almost didn’t see a North American release due to SCEA’s policy against 2D games.

Have you played it?

The PC version is obviously the better version, but the PS2 version is pretty good. It runs at 60fps (well, sometimes lol) and it looks quite good for the console 😅

The only death matches I played was in Counter Strike lol. Never actually tried the multiplayer component of the base game 😅

Half-Life is a 1998 first-person shooter developed by Valve.

Half-Life is considered by many to be one of the most influential and best FPS games of all time.

In 2001 the game was ported to the PS2 and it’s to this day the only home console port released.

Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow is a platform game developed by Disney Interactive.

Set on a tropical island, the game stars Donald Duck as the Magnum P.I.-inspired duck detective Maui Mallard and his ninja alter ego, Cold Shadow.

I own both the original and the remaster, but haven’t actually played the remaster. I know they change the look of some of the characters though

The character models especially impressed the heck out of me in FF X back then. 😅

Yeah I had the same feeling when I first played it to be honest. The in game characters don’t look like much these days, but back then they were believable enough to make me scared lol

Back then I couldn’t tell how bad the acting actually was lol

I remember FF X having some pretty impressive character models back then. 😅
