Hehe … so much fun sharing the addictions/obsessions 😈
I think I have 4 or 5 beading projects waiting in my ”to do/next in line” but I keep getting pulled onto side quests, but I think colorwork is now part of my main quest. Of course all with your lovely yarn 🥰
Hope you enjoy it too!

20.10.2025 21:53 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’m happy to know there are more of us that listen to our yarn 😊 I’ve had one skein singing to me for a year but wouldn’t tell me what it wanted to be until just a couple weeks ago🤣
20.10.2025 21:53 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0You should try! I think using a crochet hook to place them is about the same fiddlyness as using a DPN when making cables. I’ve only been knitting a bit over a year now, and using beads is one my favorite things to do! I’m cheering you on to try it!!! 🎉🎉🎉
20.10.2025 21:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Diego needed a golden crowning glory! I feel so lucky getting to celebrate him.
You should try beads! I love using them, especially when I can add a little more sparkle. Using a crochet hook to place them isn’t any harder than cables with a DPN. IMO pre-stringing gets awkward.

And of course the pattern for those interested. I found it to be relatively easy, I use a crochet hook to place the beads rather than pre-stringing.

I truly enjoy knitting hats-my favorite place to try a new technique or in this case revisit & be astonished at it being easier. The lovely yarn is from @isasaxonists.bsky.social, who I hope forgives me for it sitting for a bit till it told me what it needed to be.

Yarn holder for burgundy yarn is a plastic human skull, knitting round marker is a wood circle with a bird skull engraved, stitch markers are white human skull beads, and needle holders are a white and black human skull. Rainbow bubble popper row counter visible in background. Ceramic yarn holder for grey yarn has part of space scene visible.
I love when a project‘s theme can be carried through the bits and bobs.

Thank you!! I’m so pleased with it, and so excited that color work is so much fun to knit. I held off trying for a bit because it looked so complicated, but once I got the hang of it was a ton of fun!
