Likely that Thing will replace Emma as the premiere anti dive tank, so glad he got anti flyer tech. Don’t get the Mantis rework, she was already only useful in specific comps and situations. Also… Wolv did not need the Phoenix teamup lol

Crazy that Magneto didn’t get nerfed going into season 3. High pick and win rate across platform and quick play, ult can hard counter both some DPS ults and many strategist ults, shields incredibly useful and double with the Emma Frost teamup. Continues to be essential to team comps

I’m not against getting a ton of X Men characters in the game one after the other. They’re some of the coolest ppl not in the game already and their kits could be really exciting and versatile (Rogue as a strat that can steal abilities? Jubilee as a strat with lots of stun and cc?)

I’m so excited for Phoenix I will be insta locking her, not sorry. Curious to see details on Blade next month (feels like a DPS but… could be a tank?). I hope we get Cyclops as a tank sooner rather than later. I also think we need Charles as a strategist asap

I like that the meta is being intentionally shifted. It shakes things up, encourages players to adapt. Ppl are complaining about getting two tapped by Hela across the map. I’d argue getting combo’d by Spider-Man/Black Panther/Magik is/was worse

Season 2.5 is gonna be super poke dominated. The nerfs to dive are gonna make it hard to counter Hela, Punisher, and Hawkeye when they can do so much damage from far away.

I think we’ll see some mix of Mag/Peni/Hela/Luna/Hawkeye banned most of the time
