Honestly, I think thats fair, especially if its with your work. Every artist/writer/etc has a say in how their work is used and portrayed.

People can do what they want in the privacy of their own minds and homes, but it crosses a line when you decide to do it in a public space or platform.

i think it's important that fandom puritans that clutch their pearls over things they find "problematic" know that they've contributed to a lot of censorship policies that we see today as well as the mandatory IDs policies under the guise of "for the children"
