Unrelated but do you know if the Sounders game on 10/4 will have football lines on the field? Sounders play at 7:30pm and Seahawks on 10/5 at 1:05pm. Hard to see how they avoid it

Sounders have such clear patterns of attack. Felt like US players didn’t know where their teammates were. Was really refreshing seeing the simplicity Roldan brought. He was a huge reason in the bringing the fullbacks into the game

Despite underachieving, the in-stadium experience at mariners games is easily the best of any Seattle sports teams. I think that goes a real long way for energizing a fanbase. The marketing and community outreach is also top notch. Having a legit MVP candidate helps too

Not sure what Schmetz’s reluctance to give Leyva more mins is about. He’s done well in limited chances. So clear that Vargas is/was tired. If he doesn’t trust Leyva, what is the reason for not signing/trading for a proven CM/CDM who can help?
