I only knew Stripe b/c they run invasive javascript on websites. Then Bandcamp announced they were switching their payment system to Stripe, which immediately set off a red flag for me. PayPal has its issues, but at least it's a known quantity. Can anyone reassure me about sending Stripe my gov. ID?
