If it hasn't been "they need a goal scorer" it's "we need a goalie" "they're not physical enough" "can't win on the road" or the true enemy: not scoring on the PP.

Yeah his captaining style hasn't aged well. Sure, ge can still be an asset on the ice but he just isn't worth the trouble when you look at what have now. If he was consistent as a player I'd maybe say okay he can stay but strip the C from him but tbh I'm ready to move on from him.
