when we got to the final boss, two of our dps just stood in the silence death zone and died. nobody targeted the totems so everyone was dropping fast and tank kept standing in the moving poison cloud. i got three levels and a pair of boots.

also said mage had the only kick, and didn't use it once. nobody would focus bad casts either. this was brackenhide hollow, so we got feared every 30 seconds, which pulled more enemies. at one point it was just me and a warlock that i was hardcast healing while we waited for tank to make it back.

guys i cant pug heals anymore. had a brew monk that didn't use any defensives but used every mobility spell to get away from me while i was trying to save him. also had a mage who kept pulling more, which the tank wouldn't pull threat on, so he kept almost dying too.

the WOKE LEFT wants to CANCEL my HOMEMADE JARRED PASTA SAUCE because a customer with PRONOUNS got BOTULISM and now the WOKE FDA is SUING ME!

Dwarves consider Elven communication to be poetic and very metaphorical. While Elven literature is very poetic, even their nonfiction, their spoken language is actually very similar to most other languages.

Also Dwarven communication is extremely dense in information. There isn't much non-literal communication, and tone is, more often than not, extremely bland. Sarcasm and jokes exist, but are kept between friends. Communication with strangers or in public spaces is very formal.

I think dwarven writing would be very complex, and they'd likely have at least 2 different forms. I've given thought to a ceremonial form, inspired by decorative celtic knots, and a "government" form, that's very literal and blocky.

linguistic evolution is so interesting to me but it stops me from world building because I get caught up in what constituent word order the Dwarves would use because like. VSO is my favorite but SOV feels more dwarfy in my brain. No I will not elaborate.

The ceiling

especially because sometimes things are enjoyable and if you just let yourself try it you might like it. this goes along with not letting people decide your opinion. i used to see what people thought of movies or songs right after i listend/watched and it would sour me on something i enjoyed.

training myself to not care about what people enjoy is the best thing I've ever done. not that im very good at it but I used to get so pressed if someone enjoyed something I thought was bad. annoys them and makes me feel bad. lose-lose
