My new ADHD meds are great, now I'm extremely focused on doing things that aren't my work.

I also would not have agreed with Balatro, but then again I spent the entire show playing Balatro.

This whole thread. One of the drums I consistently bang on is the idea that the majority of “civility” requirements is code for “the way we hurt you is polite and therefore allowed and you may not complain; the way you hurt us is rude and boorish and therefore you do not matter.”

So we're hosting our friend group's Yankee Swap this year and I don't own (or especially want to buy) Christmas decorations.

I made excel crash so hard my computer had to be forced to shut down. Not bad for 20 minutes after a holiday break.

I've heard good things but I've never played it. I'm just a hard sell on multiplayer games.

I'm not sure if I like Balatro, but the creators seem to have scientifically derived the perfect game for my ADHD-ass to not be able to stop playing.

So I guess that's pretty impressive.
