Even if you are opposed to drug use, prohibition makes drugs less safe & doesn’t decrease drug use, so do you just want people to suffer?

Welp. My partner’s ESL program has been cut completely and his last day is next Friday. And none of his students were “illegals” as they say. So stupid.

First time ever laying mulch and all to have to say is I think it’s such a scam. Way too much work for it to look good for just a couple of days. You can’t convince me it serves any actual purpose.

If it weren’t for Medicaid, I wouldn’t be alive today. When I was in active addiction they paid for all of my SUD treatment when I finally decided to get help. I’m worried others won’t have this experience with the cuts that are about to happen.

My partner and I both received job-related bad news today (hours and benefits cuts) and it’s a direct result of the funding and Medicaid cuts that are happening. He teaches ESOL to adults and I treat pts for SUD. I fear this is just the beginning.

I really don’t get what the point is in questioning all these idiots if nothing is being done about all the lies and stupidity.
