It's LITERALLY the thing they cut for time on CBC.

I always get jump scared watching it on Disney+. In Canada on CBC, they always cut that part.

*I want to put a face on a shirt for Halloween and my library has a cricut so I asked our librarian if we have stuff to put like vinyl on shirts and it DOES. So I can go use the library's cricut and put it on the shirt instead of sewing it on!

Amazing. Libraries are so good.

My back felt a lot better today and I got so much done. Went shopping, did some life admin stuff, decorated some for Halloween, talked to the library about a thing I need for my Halloween costume*, made a plan with a friend to go thrifting for Halloween stuff... so fun.

...I almost just said, "And I grew up in Southern Ontario," but I read a book recently and apparently I actually grew up in Northern Ontario.

I'm watching this Canadian "reality" TV show from 2000 (it's really more of a documentary tbh) and there aren't captions because I'm watching it on Tubi and tbh I kinda think they might have ripped it right off a VHS.

I am getting most of it, but some of these people have SUCH thick accents

My mom claims she saw my name in the credits for Thriller and that's where she got it. As far as I can find, this is not remotely true XD

But I did walk for the first time towards Meatloaf's I'd Do Anything for Love video which I think is pretty close

Really want to encourage libraries - especially school libraries - to put no-AI content into your collection development policy. At the very least, if you have a clause in there about requiring accurate information, you can use that to weed out or prevent genAI purchases.
