In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.

When Republicans are pre-butting a pro-democracy rally like No Kings and making shit up left and right to scare people, you know they're losing and in panic mode.

Nothing says, "Hey international companies, bring your manufacturing to the US" like arresting 475 workers at a Hyundai (70% of whom are South Korean).

Is it me or are only non-melanated people referring to what’s happening in DC as a “distraction?”

Because some of us know that this is practice. And we know that Black, Brown, and poor people will be harmed, killed, and incarcerated because of it.

Don’t belittle that by calling it a distraction.

The woman petitioning SCOTUS to overturn marriage equality in the name of the sanctity of marriage is on her fourth husband.
