Cela fait déjà 13 ans 1/2 que le rover Curiosity explore le cratère Gale.
Cette récente mosaïque nous fait réaliser combien la poussière s'accumule sur son pont.

Certes, mais justement, avec tout le retour d'expérience qu'ils ont, c'est difficile de comprendre pourquoi ça déconne autant.

Et des progrès dans la fiabilité des moteurs aussi, ça reste un gros point noir de façon tout à fait incompréhensible quand on voit les Falcons

Bah qu'ils restent sur Falcon 9 alors... Quand on pense qu'un dérivé de la Falcon heavy aurait suffit pour le HLS, ça rend d'autant plus ridicule tous les délires autour d'une version spécifique d'un Starship qui en 2025 ne remplit toujours pas les objectifs vantés y a des années 🤣

Starlink sont des grappes de cubesats, avec un déployeur... Moi je parle de vraie charge utile à déployer. Un satellite encore ça reste envisageable. Mais une sonde à injecter dans une orbite de transfert (ce que New Glenn a très bien fait du coup), vu l'architecture du bousin, c'est pas possible

Si Starship HLS continue à exister, et pour l'heure... C'est assez flou.

Mouais, enfin vu leur taux de réussite, on y est pas encore, et m'est avis que ce sera pas en 2026... Et avant qu'ils fassent un vol réel avec une vraie charge utile (on parle d'un truc conçu pour embaruqé des pelles de Starlinks uniquement à la base...)
Donc pour moi, Starship c'est un grand non

En tous cas, sera toujours plus que des vols réussis de Starship 😂
