Sadly, ketchup on the walls wont make OUR White House look much worse than it does now with that gaping hole does where the beautiful East Wing used to be. I guess the tariffs that have been wreaking destruction on the country were a bridge too far even for the corrupt SCOTUS.

I am too. I agree that it's a stronger decency too because I'm not feeling forced to comply with any religion.

Incidentally, atheists are among the most moral, decent people I know. They're moral and decent because it's the right way to be, not because a god told them to behave that way.

All the faith talk is still going to make a lot of people wary that he will let his religion influence the way he makes decisions. Maybe not in Texas, but in the country at large if he ever runs for national office.

I could not possibly agree more. I liked both Talarico and Beshear...that is until they started babbling about their faith. That was a stone cold turnoff for me. Get religion the hell out of politics. Religion in politics is one of the worst problems this country has.

To state the obvious, the Republicans control both houses of Congress so he won't be impeached in the House (simple majority vote) or convicted in the Senate (2/3 vote). Republicans give Trump anything he wants.

Republicans are to blame for Scalia's seat (died 2016) going to Gorsuch. Obama hinted to Ginsburg back in 2013 that she retire. She wouldn't. In 2013 the Rs couldn't have held a seat vacant for four years. Ginsburg held on and died just in time for Trump to appoint Barrett.

Sorry, but Ginsburg shares blame for what we're in now. If she had retired while Obama was President as was suggested to her, we'd have another liberal Justice. Instead we have Handmaid Amy Coney Bonehead.
