ICE agents are America's failures, basically indistinguishable from lazy school shooters, losers who want to play Call of Duty on our streets against people who can't fight back. They have unlimited ammo and toss tear gas like they're pressing L1. They have to be defunded and jailed. All of them.

People love reading Horror fiction because it allows us to face unspeakable situations safely in our own minds as we go through the horror with the protagonists and come out the other side one way or the other. This prepares us for the terrors of our present realities.

It's that time of year where I post this one

I tried for months to offer up suggestions of books to stock at my local store other than King, including specifically ordering some through them. I finally came to the realization they didn't care. I haven't been back since.

Paperback books are like velveteen rabbits — there to be loved and squeezed and read and stuffed into shoulder bags and left in the sun and read again until there's nothing left but the best kind of memories
