In my dream last night cameras never developed (unintentional pun) past the 1800’s. There was a car race with a photo finish, but as they crossed the line a piano fell on the camera, leaving the photographer standing there with the cover over their head looking confused.

Exciting news! Now that the Plovers have moved on, the Magpies are back, and once again being cheeky for snacks. Good thing I got fresh cheese yesterday.

It is a broken and dysfunctional system with blood on it’s hands. But yeah, blame the paying parents, it’s the easy thing to do, and avoids responsibility.

Gave some plans to a metal fabricator a couple of weeks ago, to get some parts made. Called in to see him today and he hadn’t done the work.

Which was really good, because I came up with a better design today, so the job is now even easier. A win for laziness!

Spent the day doing some work on my Teardrop. It’s on a friend’s farm, because I don’t currently have storage for it at home. Most of the day was just planning stuff for when I pick it up in a fortnight to do some upgrades. Everything measured up, so here’s hoping it all works out.

Finally getting around to putting shielding in my P bass. Very rough surface inside, might have to sand it back next time, in about 20 years or so. May have to replace a string by then too.

My knowledge of cars is so great that I can hear the turbo on any vehicle and instantly know if it is being driven by a P plater.

I’m not happy that @eflind.bsky.social will soon get to be with her husband, I’m happy that she’ll finally get to enjoy the block of Caramilk chocolate that arrived last month.

The MMM Rock Air Balloon is out and about this morning, dropping icy cold cans of coke all over Melbourne, and handing out $100 vouchers for Strathfield Car Radios. You can find them landing in a field somewhere in the next 15 minutes, all thanks to the smart arse kid with the BB gun and great aim.

I hate when random people think I’m waving at them, and decide to wave back. I’m not waving at you, I’m waving to your dog, because they’re a good dog, oh yes they are.

The woman sitting opposite me on the train is eating a large KFC gravy with a spoon. Not a potato and gravy, just gravy. Not dipping chicken in it, she is just eating gravy like it is a soup, and I really wish she had a second spoon so I could join in. It’s gravy eating weather today for sure.

I have this game with a friend, a bit of a bonus for them. I have to tick off being behind a car with every State/Territory number plate, and a National plate. Once that happens, they get $100.
Today it happened, only took since February to happen. Now the game resets.

Both 2025 Canto Care Packs have been delivered. One took six days, the other 7 days. This blows my mind how they did the Kessel Run in less than 12 Parsecs this year, but last year were slower than a Sarlacc’s digestive tract.

I won lotto last night! What to do with the $11? So many options; Do I keep my job? Do I share it with friends? Should I play the Stockmarket, or maybe put it under the mattress for a rainy day? Mmmm, it is raining outside, good thing we have polymer banknotes so they won’t get damaged.
