One of the blockers to more renewable energy in the UK is the NIMBY tendency in the Green Party. In the east of England, Green MPs have been vocal about stopping the infrastructure needed for renewables. They value political manoeuvring against the government more than clean energy.

Healthy lifespan is what he means BUT many men are living about 15β17 years in less than βfull health,β but this does not directly tell us who can or canβt work.
Also, pension rise to 68 is not imminent but 2044 to 2046.

FACT CHECKS:
1. Rise to 68 is not "soon" but between 2044 and 2046.
2. Healthy life expectancy refers to the average number of years expected to be lived in good health, not the total years lived or years able to work.

It's because we have a constitution with separation of powers. It's not written on one document, as it is in other countries but it still exists. A constitution that separated the executive from the judiciary would exist if we were a republic.

What's wrong with the Canadians' regulated culling programme? (I don't know anything about it, genuinely interested to learn).

Lots of arrests that are in the news result in jury trials. There is no jury selection. The only variation from the luck of the draw is if a juror has some connection with anyone involved in the trial.

Leaving the hats aside, saying there is never any such thing as a valid reason to cull animals is quite extreme. You think for example, that rat populations in cities should not be contolled?

I don't know, really. If it is a cull that is for valid reasons, and not because of the hats, it does no harm.
