I love silverbeet. A yum experiment I tried recently was a gratin. Tightly roll the leaves into cigar shapes and fit into a buttered garlic rubbed gratin dish. Top with sliced potatoes, cheese & douse with cream. Bake till done.
Very strong silverbeet flavour... exact opposite of question asked!

I was thinking of the after the kids are in bed games. With the kids still up we were in an exploding kittens loop. But more recently they have been loving presidents and arseholes. I think 99% because arseholes is funny to say!

We had an old one of these in the early 80s. Mum told us when she knew someone who got their scarf caught and died! Not sure if it was true, but sure did stop us messing with it!

Just read Under the Mountain to my 8 & 10 nephs. We ended up reading well past normal lights out 4 weeks in a row of sleep-over night. They LOVED it.

I read Across the Barricades when I was maybe std 4, really stuck with me. Great recommendation.

Not till menopausal symptoms amplified it that I twigged!

I got tonsilitis recently and couldn't do coffee for a week. First 24hrs I think the cold turkey caffeine withdrawal was worse than the tonsillitis! I did use the reset to cut back to just one a day mid morning coffee. Trying to avoid that 'must-caffinate-to-operate' feeling!

Honestly one of the best cafe experiences I've ever had. Felt so welcome! They were super busy and had to arrange tables for us, and we had *gasp* children in our group. Everyone loved the food. Everything was just 💯
