I've been on Twitter since 2008, but only really tweeted about #thearchers, so you probably don't know me. I read, I bake, I cook, I listen to pod casts, I go to see bands play, I scour Vinted for bargains, I go to the theatre, I sometimes run

You've heard of Colin, meet Colon. (I tried to make that brownie yule log that's everywhere... Let me tell you it's harder than it looks.)

For the son who has everything, I've made @theresthistory.bsky.social guys as snowmen, in biscuit form. Happy Christmas!

She was my favourite! The whole event had such a great atmosphere and I found it so moving!

I agree, also think it's important to read and listen to other views. Not all Xers are abusive, some are just opinionated. So many people living in an echo chamber are shocked by outcomes whether Brexit or Trump, that would not have shocked them if they heard other voices. But I don't like threads!

Then @guyshrubsole.bsky.social in conversation with Craig Bennett, discussing land ownership and stewardship, a subject I know nothing about. Fascinating and informative, but also enraging. I now understand why I'm constantly avoiding running over pheasants. Can't wait to read The Lie of the Land.

In Cambridge for the literary festival this weekend. I so enjoyed Laura Cumming speaking so intelligently and generously about her life, Dutch art and her book Thunderclap. Such a robust defence of a personal response to art, I found it unexpectedly moving!

I'm thoroughly enjoying series of #thecomingstorm on BBC Sounds. It seems to come from such a genuine place and helps me to understand the sincerely held beliefs of others, and challenges some of my own assumptions.

Sometimes you catch a band right on the cusp of getting really big in a small venue, and it's the most exciting thing! I feel lucky to live near #chinnerys, a tiny venue with big clout. Saw #theks on Thursday and it was intense! #indiecultclub put on nights to remember!
