A post from UKGE Instagram account showing that it has 7 comments one of which is from Alderdoodle expressing disappointment.

Same post, but now it has only 3 comments.

@ukge.bsky.social shared a post on Instagram about a card game that has gAI 'art'. People (including me) commented on it expressing their disappointment. UKGE chose to respond by hiding the comments.
Should we assume UKGE is pro gAI and doesn't care for artists without whom the con wouldn't exist?

Games I cover that are in retail have a very different profile. It's a flatter start but they just keep ticking over.

As a channel that doesn't do paid content, this works a lot better for us.

The Metrics on previous KS videos are very clear. They have a massive sugar hit for the first few days, tick over a little during the campaign and then flat line, even if there are late pledges

They then have another boost when it delvers and either flatline again, or slowly grow if it hits retail

I feel like if you don’t have art yet, it’s better to put in a blank “placeholder”
or royalty free clip art with placeholder language than use AI art and promise to replace it with real art later? It makes me skeptical and I avoid projects that do this.

This is amazingly mediocre, even for Chris Hipkins, New Zealand's least daring politician.

We were pleased to hear that @cmyk.games will include the designer on their packaging in the future.

Their box artwork, while striking, was ultimately a disappointment for hiding the contribution of the designer and other creatives that worked on the game.
