The Inner Circle plays the numbers game so we'll, and after a real slobber knocker (including interference from Pac), the pre-PPV breakdown after the match builds so much momentum for each contest coming up!

Brandon Cutler (0-2) vs. Shawn Spears (2-2)

Spears makes short work of Cutler in a quick but contested match. As he goes to do a Death Valley driver onto a chair, Joey Janela runs in. Shawn powders before he hits the ring, but the fued is bubbling!

A video of Brandi finally explaining her complaints with the conversations about her place in AEW. She says that she and Awesome Kong are going to make you long for your worst nightmares.

Jamie Hayter (0-1) and Emi Sakura (1-2) vs. Shanna (0-1) and Riho (6-1)

Emi Sakura rules! All of these ladies are fantastic wrestlers, but she's such a talented performer. A well paced and excited match. I can't wait for Emi vs. Riho at Full Gear!

A hilarious video package hyping up Chris Jericho for his championship match against Cody. It features interviews from the Inner Circle, Soultrain Jones (Virgil), and Jericho's Aunt's Friend from Church. A good bit of silliness after Cody's promo.

Dark Order (3-1) vs. Private Party (2-4)

It becomes easier and easier to see what AEW was such a hit out of the gate. These two teams I hardly knew going into the company's existence are nothing short of spectacular. Both unique in presentation and moveset, they're so exciting to watch!

Cody cuts a promo on Chris Jericho that scorches the earth on which he stands. Calling Jericho a carny succubus, saying Chris has the same silver spoon, being a hockey player's son, and that the Elite will eat the Inner Circle alive.

PAC (2-1-1) vs. Trent (3-4)

Hell of a hard hitting match. Pac is an incredible talent, and Trent could have a great match with a broomstick. Orange with the help is always appreciated, and the refuse to tap finish is great for Trent.

The show closes with Tully Blanchard confronting Joey Janela backstage. He tells him putting a cigarette out in his drink wasn't funny, and Shawn Spears comes from off screen to hand out a beat down. Janela vs Spears next week?

Jurassic Express vs. Jimmy Havoc and Joey Janela

Hard hitting, fast paced, and somewhat silly. The fact that Havoc and Janela won after Janela stapled gunned Havoc in the head is absolutely hysterical! Great match!

From Undesirable to Undeniable this week is Jimmy Havoc, who is Undesirable again, so we'll move on

A video package of Britt Baker hyping her Full Gear match against Bea Priestly. She's upset about Priestly giving her a concussion, and not calling to check on her. Baker threatens to rip off Bea's jaw.

Big Swole (0-0) and Mercedes Martinez (0-0) vs. Sadie Gibbs (0-1) and Allie (2-2)

Every one of these women were giving everything to this match. A very well put together tag bout, and I can't believe that any one of these women aren't still working for AEW, and in the mix for all titles

Shawn Spears (1-2) vs. Michael Nakazawa (1-0)

This is a fun match. Nakazawa is a great comedic wrestler. Both Spears and Tully Blanchard slipping around in his baby oil had me cackling. Sound technical wrestling, and a few comedic spots made this a great way to kick off Dark.

We start out in studio, and Tony Schiavone introduces his new co-host Dasha Gonzalez. They introduce this week's matches, and throw it over to the in ring portion of the show

SCU vs The Lucha Brothers: Tag Team Tournament Finals

Hell of a match that had an obvious rushed finish. The crowd didn't seem to know what just happened. No matter what, SCU wins! They are your inaugural AEW Tag Team Champions! A nice repayment for their belief in AEW from the start.

Peter Avalon comes in to cut a promo on the crowd, calling Charleston, WV rotten. Moxley comes in through the crowd, hits Peter with a Paradigm Shift, and expresses his displeasure with his Full Gear stipulation. He promises beautiful violence against Omega will be on AEW's hands.

The Elite win the match, but the Bucks are jumped by Proud and Powerful disguised as Bucks fans in Rick and Morty masks. The Inner Circle continues to be a menace the entire show!

The Hybrid 2 (2-3) and Kip Sabian (2-1) vs. Kenny Omega (1-1) and The Young Bucks (1-1)

This starts out with an 8-bit animation detailing Kenny Omega's recent struggles with mental health. From there it is a very entertaining trios match. TH2 is a very underrated tag team

Contract signing time! Jericho waits as Cody pulls up in his limo. Cody signs, and Jericho starts playing games to get in Cody's head. Chris shakes Cody's hand, and cuts to Guevara and Hager beating Dustin in the parking lot. The Inner Circle leave in an SUV, and has made their mark tonight
