but there's still a regression in number of datapoints as of 13:25 CET π¬
Further research of our data shows that sites _not_ serving pages with `cfCacheStatus: HIT` are impacted the most.
This makes sense: ..

In other words: a clear dip in datapoints in the last 3 hours.
Cloudflare reported it at 12:48 CET, 18 minutes after first sites using RUMvision - Core Web Vitals monitoring were affected.
Based on latest data, it seems like Cloudflare recovered things.

Whoops, @cloudflare.social outage. And we're seeing it quite clearly in our Real User Monitoring (RUM) data:

#LCP and #INP support in #Safari really coming close now (maybe even in 2025?) as Safari 26.2 Beta Release Notes includes:
- support for the Event Timing API
- Largest Contentful Paint metric
Great work by the #Webkit team!

Now on to the real event @ @perfnow.nl! π
My go-to source is a Dutch site as it also offers hourly overview per day and actual outcome/weather is often somewhere in between Google Weather (typically more negative forecast) and @buienradar.bsky.social (Dutch only though as far as I could find):

@perfnow.nl Amsterdam weather update for those that haven't packed yet:
Not too bad during the perf days as it will become slightly warmer + less rainy from Wednesday to Friday.
Most akward part was that an employee saw me taking a picture, asked if it was a good one, and me trying to explain that it's funny as it's a specific term in my industry π

And I picked up a few insights from the audience too:
β what tools they typically use
β how familiar they are with each individual metric
β if they know who @divingfor.fun is (my very first quiz question which appeared to be a tricky one π
)

Which actually proved my points perfectly:
β web #performance subject still matters as conditions are never the same
β field data (e.g. #CoreWebVitals) is different from my testruns back home
β if 75% managed to participate, Iβll take that as a win (just like Googleβs 75th percentile π)

Weekend! But also: looking back at quite the event, venue and community! Iβve only spoken to a purely #SEO audience a handful of times, but this one was truly energizing!
A stable internet was needed to pull off the live quiz.
Some attendees couldnβt even join in π¬

I particularly like the name&shame list, as I sometimes like to call it when talking about our #thirdParties dashboard in RUMvision - Core Web Vitals monitoring

To make it easy, Iβve bundled all the performance-related proposals into a blogpost

Building RUMvision has brought me closer to shaping the web than ever before.
Best part?
With the yearly Interop, you can too:
β By proposing your own ideas
β Or by simply upvoting existing ones
(I submitted a few proposals this year and feel very nerdy now π€)

1οΈβ£ Browser vendors like Chrome and Edge actually listen to feedback
2οΈβ£ They even run origin trials, so you can test features before they ship
3οΈβ£ And every year, thereβs Interop, where major browsers decide what to align on and which features to prioritize

Many people don't know this: you can help shape the web with just an upvote (But: Today is the last day!)
When I started frontend dev 20+ years ago, browsers felt untouchable to me: everything is set in stone and decided already.
But over time (and especially since 2021) I learned that:
