oh wow! yeah it really is incredible. i’ve really never seen such a high quality video of the sun’s plasma. it looks haunting and beautiful

based on the timelapse and the fact you can see the sun ever so slightly rotating, i assume this was over a matter of days. i’m not too sure how many, maybe 2-4?

yeah, truly the downfall of the film is that everything was live action to begin with. maybe if they exaggerated that line between real and cartoon a bit more, like something from “love, death, and robots” i could see it working. but yeah idk, it seemed doomed to flop

well aleta was adapted from a manga, so i assume it was an artistic choice to further dehumanize her as a robot, while also paying homage to the original. aside from her eyes being bigger, her nose, mouth, & chin are fairly small too, to further match that anime look i assume. it does look weird tho

i’ve been struggling to get into things for this exact reason. it’s like seeing a nice pair of jeans in a store and wanting to wear them ‘cause they look really nice, but all the people you see wearing them wear it as a hat. you just want to wear them as pants, but those people get mad when you do.
